APRODEV Briefing October 2009: Call for IPR Flexiblities in Climate Change and Trade Negotiations

Intellectual Property Rights have become a critical issue in the climate negotiations and will become an important issue in ensuring access to new technologoies for both climate mitigation and adaptation. The call is for extending WTO TRIPS flexiblities to technology that enhances food security and agricultural resilience, and to remove existing barriers of knowledge transfer.
