APRODEV has been working on EU-ACP relations since the mid 90's and is a founding member of the CONCORD Cotonou Working Group (CWG). APRODEV is active on the two main pillars of the Cotonou Agreement:
The Cotonou working group actively supports the participation of European and ACP civil society organisations at the biannual ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assemblies. In that view, the group prepares short briefing papers on issues related to or impacting on ACP-EU relations.
